Wow! I can’t
even believe that it’s already the end of the semester. It’s been a great year
so far with great memories and moments. I’ve been quite happy with my progress
in A.L. because I have definitely improved a lot since the beginning of the
year. We’ve done many activities rather it be choice, outside, FITNESS or even
a simple activity like Capture the Flag or Badminton. I have enjoyed A.L. a lot
till now and I always look forward to coming to this class. I participate in
Active Learning as much as I can to my best ability. I’m usually never away and
I always am on time with full P.E. strip on.
I participate in the games we play and always try my best to motivate
others to play as well. I try my best to do the activity at my full ability so
its fun for everyone else. When its choice I try to find an activity that is
fun but will let me exercise as well and let me move around. For example if
basketball is one of the activities I will play basketball because it is fun
and lets you move around and run. I always try to contribute to the class by encouraging
others to participate and work with the class and I will help with equipment as
well. I always try to help to put away equipment rather it be mine or not. For
example there were some badminton rackets sitting around the other day so I picked
them up and put them back where they came from even though they were not mine.
I always enter the gym with a smile and positive attitude and always try to
encourage others to be smiling and positive as well. I feel that the first part
to a successful gym class is your attitude and if you have a positive attitude
you will have a lot more fun in gym. Overall I am a healthy person, and I
always try to maintain myself. On a regular fitness day I’m always sweating and
I’m very red, while my fitness score is usually 6.3. I know my beep test is low
because I don’t play very many sports and don’t get to run that often. I always
try to go on walks when the weather is nice because I like to embrace nature
while I get some exercise as well. I always eat lots of fruit and vegetables
and always find myself a healthy lunch like a ham sandwich or chicken salad. In
the future I would like to start running on a daily basis to make my cardio ability
stronger and better. I do Bhangra and it helps in stamina as well and I think
that’s one of the reasons I am healthy. Overall I think the first half of this
year has been great and I look forward to the rest of this year! In conclusion I
think I deserve an A in A.L. because I try my best and always participate with
my best ability! Of course it doesn’t matter what happens there is always room
for improvement! :) -Simran
