Final Blog Post

Wow.. it's the end of the year? This year went by so fast; I can't believe it's over! Grade 10 P.E. was a wonderful experience and once again taught me many more things. I think, I've really improved and have achieved a healthy lifestyle to a good level. I would definitely like to improve it more and become even more active, although I am happy that I have been able to improve. I've shared a lot more memories this year with others and made even more connections with  people. I will always remember this P.E. year- it's definitely been the best one yet. My final blog post has been inspired by Nimrit's.

Participation: 21/25
(Ability to participate and the quality of participation of in-class activities.)

Attendance and Punctuality: 4.5/5

I am always on time to class, and am prepared. I have a fairly good attendance; if I am away, I have told my teacher or notified the school. I am usually away because of volunteering or illness.

Wearing Gym Strip: 5/5

I always have gym strip. I don't think there has been a day that I don't have it. I even wear gym strip on some days that I am not participating, in case there is any way I can modify it.

Physical Presence/Intensity Level During Games: 4/5

I am usually quite involved in games or activities. I project my voice quite a bit during games, and enjoy playing games with running. I try to motivate others as well. I will usually be involved and try my best, but occasionally there will be days where I am not trying as hard. I love to be involved and find it boring to just stand in one spot.

Skill Level in Various Games: 3.5/5

This is the part where if you're good, you're good. If you're not, you're not. I can catch a ball, and hit a birdie; but there's other activities that are not my best. Activities like football, lacrosse or pickleball can be difficult sometime. I still try playing in these games so that I don't ruin it for anyone else.

Motivation behind your selection of activities on choice days: 4/5

Choice days are one of those days, where the decision depends upon you. I will usually stick to something that I enjoy doing or what I am feeling on a certain day. If I want to run more, I will choose an activity that involves running, if I want to have a simple activity, I will chose something simple. I also will choose new interesting activities, that seem appealing to me! I am usually choosing activities with my friends and we all pick one accordingly to what we want to do; we all have similar ideas of what we want to do.

Social Responsibility: 22.5/25
(Factors that led to improving skills around working with peers to make everyone's experiences more successful.)

Leadership: 4.5/5

This is something that I tend to do in class. I like to be involved and help plan things. I try to help with bringing equipment and setting up a game (i.e. capture the flag, speedball.) I express my ideas along with listening to others ideas. I am able to project my voice quite a bit, so this helps when leading something. I have organized games before like Hide and Go Seek Tag or Handball. I try my best in P.E. to put my full potential in because it motivates others to do the same. I motivate others in P.E. and am always cheering others on. I like to encourage others and cheer because it brings positive energy and motivates others to do their best. I enjoy planning games with the class because everyone has a say and we can create a game that everyone will enjoy and play in.

Initiative: 4/5

I usually try to help with setting up and planning activities. I try to pick up cones and equipment after games and am often involved with getting equipment as well (i.e. nets, cones, pinnies.) I tend to be on time so we can do an overview of the class and I can be there to know what's going on in P.E.  I will often help out with organizing activities too, and take initiative to help others as well.

Positive Energy and Social Dynamic During Activities: 4.5/5

I personally believe positivity is very important. If you are not positive and come with a negative attitude, you won't do well. I come to P.E. with a positive attitude and am always laughing and smiling. I personally feel that positive energy makes everything more enjoyable and makes you actually want to participate. Occasionally, I will get frustrated and disappointed because some people aren't playing the game properly, or participating. I will stay try to stay calm and cheer others on; this motivates them and they tend to do better!

Honesty During Competition and Fitness Scores: 5/5

Honesty is one of the best qualities someone can have in them. Cheating in games or not following the rules in games does no good for you, or others. It ruins it for everyone and decreases the positive energy. This makes it hard for everyone else as well, discouraging everyone. As to talk about my fitness scores; I always speak the truth about them. There is no reason to be lying, everyone should be honest. That is you as a person, and you should not have to lie about it. You can lie to everyone else, but you cannot lie to yourself. What you think about yourself matters most, and if you are not happy with your results, work harder and achieve your goal.

Connections with the Community/Volunteering: 4.5/5

I took Community Leadership last semester and was quite involved with the community and volunteered a lot. Even after this, I volunteered regardless of the fact that I was not in the class anymore. One event that I have done is Parent Teacher Interviews; I often help with this. I believe volunteering is very important and is a form of giving back. To gain, you start with giving. Taking care of your community is as important as taking care of yourself. You live in that community and it is part of you. I like to volunteer and help out with the community because I feel as if I am completing a significant role in my life.

Healthy Living: 17/25
(Aspects of your past, current, and future detained goals on health and fitness)

Noteworthy Changes in Fitness: 4/5

My fitness has improved; beep test is a main fitness testing check. From one beep test to another, I went up one whole level; I was quite happy with that. Something that I have noticed in other fitness activities is the fact that I am able to pace myself along with give out slower. I am able to keep going and I can mentally keep going too. I have changed a lot mentally when doing fitness or P.E. in general, I stop myself from letting go. I'm quite happy with this because no matter how much body wants to let go, mentally I stop myself.
Some of the barriers/limitations you face in participating: 4.5/5

Rather than limitations, it would be barriers. There are various barriers like not being comfortable, not being able to do something, confidence, etc etc. The most common one for me is when I cannot do something. This definitely discourages me, but I am usually able to modify it. One thing that not only I but others have a difficulty with is yoga; we all work together and modify it, so that we can still work out and do the activity.
Dietary Choices and Extra Curricular Activity Choices and Their Impact on Overall Health: 4/5

What you eat, is really what you are. I use to not be as healthy, but I have changed a to. I don't eat junk anymore during the week or on a daily basis, only occasionally. I prefer eating fruits or vegetables, yogurt, or even a granola bar. Although I don't play a sport, I still try to workout. This could be going for a run or walk, watching a workout video, playing a sport for fun, etc. I try to workout at least 3 to 4 times a week, because it makes me feel good and also in a way gives me some time to learn about my body and give some love to it too. Both these things are very important, because eating healthy and working out, go hand in hand. The nutrients from the food you eat fuel you. When you eat healthy, it helps your brain and body to function properly. Physical exercise is also very important, it removes bad toxins from your body and gets it moving. This is crucial because it helps your body to maintain itself. Overall, both things help your body so much and you.
Injury Prevention. Management,  and Rehabilitation and Future Plans/goals of Health Choices:  4.5/5

Preventing yourselves from injuries is very important, although they can happen anytime, anywhere. One thing that we do in P.E. is stretch before and after doing a physical exercise or warm up; this is a way of preventing injuries. You are warming up your body and stretching your muscles, so there is less chance of you pulling something. If I do get injured, I will make sure I give it treatment to fix it as soon as possible. Exercising can also make your muscles stronger which can prevent you from injuries as well.
Digital Portfolio and Reflective Skills: 22/25
(Aspects of Blog Posts)

Total Collection of Digital Evidence and Number of Posts: 5/5

In total, I have 39 posts.I try to blog as much as I can, at least for most classes we have.

Quality of the Selection of Evidence as a Demonstration of Learning: 4/5

I have various types of blog posts; some are about regular P.E. classes, some about weight room, some about choice, outside of school, etc. I have my final posts, mid-term posts, dance week, buddies; the things that were most important. I usually have detailed posts about the things we do, or I have done. They have details about what i enjoyed, what was wrong, or even what I could have done. I write a detailed post, not just one or two sentences. I try to provide evidence, and try to get pictures in class as well. I will take pictures for others as well.

The Quality of the Summaries/Explanations of the Evidence (with reflection of effort, new learning cited, research included and future goals/plans set): 4/5

I write detailed posts about the activities we have done, and my impact on them. I discuss how I felt about the activity, and what I did, or what I could have done. I try to ass evidence, and what I can improve on. I set goals, and write on how I can improve to reach that goal, or what I can do to achieve it.

The Usefulness of Comments on Peers Blogs Entries as a Part of Socially Constructed Learning and Assessment: 4/5

I try to comment as much as I can on others blog and encourage them in various ways. I don't comment to often, but when I do, I will give a positive remark including a keep it up, or a little improving tip. I don't comment as often as I should, therefore I am giving myself a lower mark in this. I appreciate the comments I receive and use them towards myself in a positive manner and way to improve. The comments I receive about improving or any tips, I use towards my learning or progress.
Ability to Synthesize Entries into a Summative Final Post Which Provides Evidence for Learning: 4.5/5

Well, this is the final post and till now I think I'm doing okay..? My mid term is also like a final post that had a good summary of my progress along with improvements. In this post I have talked about what I have done this year, an over view of my progress, and what I have done as a peer.

Here comes the hard part.. what do I think I deserve in P.E.? In total, when you add up everything you get an 82.5% and I guess this is the mark that I deserve this year. P.E. was a great experience again, and this year was lots of fun. I will definitely miss it, and hope to get this experience again. Bless. :)

Last Buddy Day

We had our last buddy day this week. It was a wonderful experience, but I'm definitely going to miss my little champ. He was a pleasure to have as a buddy and always put a smile on my face. On the last day, it was more of a connection and talk day. We didn't do and physical activity, instead we did a class tour and talked to our buddies about Summer plans and things they enjoy. My buddy talked about how he likes to write and draw, he showed me some of the things he wrote and drew. He's got such neat writing; I was absolutely shocked! His writing was so nice and neat, I couldn't even believe it was of a grade two's. My buddy talked about playing sports in the Summer and going on vacation. He wants to practice a lot of tennis- he LOVES tennis.

My buddy also talked about spending time with family, visiting his sister, and playing sports with his parents. He hopes that it will be warm and that he will miss grade two and his teachers. He said, he's a little afraid of big kids because they can be intimidating sometimes. It was nice to know how he feels and connecting with him. He gave me a hug before I left and told me he'll miss me, such an adorable little boy. I hope I can see him again soon, and even when he's grown up- such a wonderful kid.

Walk Along the Beach

Recently, I went to the beach and walked for a while. I was there for about an hour, I walked and jogged. I started off with walking as a warmup and then jogged. It felt nice, the sea water and atmosphere made the jog a lot nicer. After jogging, I walked a bit more and ended off my workout! I sat down on the grass a bit and admired the pretty atmosphere- it was a great day, and I would love to do it more often.

Buddies.. Again!

Last Tuesday, we went to see our buddies again. My buddy wasn't here so I was paired with Natan's buddy (Natan was at intramurals!) Natan's buddy is also quite chirpy and isn't too shy, I've worked with him before though! Natan's little buddy and I talked for a bit, and got to know each other more, and then we started the class.

We played rock, paper and scissors in various ways. Natan's buddy is definitely a fast learner, I showed him once and he caught on. He knew how to play regular rock, paper and scissors already,  but he understood the body version right away. He did really well while playing the game and had great team spirit; he was still happy and chirpy if he didn't win. Natan joined us afterwards, and his buddy was quite happy. In general, this class was pretty successful, but I missed little champ.

SALAD 😍

Okay, so the other day I was eating salad in class.. it was my lunch whoops. Nimrit and Aaron gave me the idea of taking a picture and posting it on my blog. I've noticed that my eating has gotten healthier, I look more into salads and vegetables rather that burgers and fries. For snacks, I go for yogurt and fruits. I've been quite happy with my eating improving. Here's a picture!

Fitness Friday

Okay, so I didn't do this fitness activity because I was having some issues and wasn't able to participate. I got the honour to take pictures; pretty sure I can go in professional photography now.. jokes. Either way, this Fitness activity seemed like a lot of fun. It was relays! These relays were on the lower field, and I have to say everyone was working hard on this. Everyone was participating greatly in this activity and there were a lot of red faces! I was able to take pictures of our class and I think I got everyone.. hopefully! Either way, I hope the next time we do this, I can be part of it! :)

Healthy Eating

I got hungry, and wanted some kind of snack- instead of having junk, I ate strawberries! I personally love strawberries, and eat them often. I've noticed my eating become healthier, and I'm quite happy and proud of it.

Choice - Handball

Today in P.E. we got to do choice. The choices were Handball, Badminton, Soccer, Zumba and Ping Pong. I chose to play Handball with a couple other band kids. Shout out to Stroh for helping us with like all of the equipment. We were split into three teams, so we were on and off pretty quick, this was a good workout. We were able to run and throw and it also required teamwork, it was played well. I liked my team, we cheered each other on and we involved one another. This actually turned out really well and I think everyone enjoyed themselves. If you look at Nimrit's blog, there are some pictures of us and our teammates! :)

All My Buddy Posts :)

First Meeting With My Buddy:

Alright, today was a great day in P.E. I got to meet my buddy! We have a buddy program with Cambridge Elementary and are big buddies to grade 1's and 2's. They are such adorable young children and just make you smile instantly.

My buddy is absolutely adorable, he's so funny and energetic; just like me! He starts off shy, but then becomes quite open. He loves to talk and always has a smile on his face. He's got a long hair and his this mushroom haircut kind of thing going on. It was so nice talking to my buddy because he isn't very shy and likes to talk about things. He loves playing basketball and it is his favourite sport; he also likes other sports like soccer or something that involves running. My buddy has two sisters and two brothers, all older than him except for his youngest brother. He loves playing outside and enjoys school. He likes nature and being outdoors. He loves spending time with his family and likes to go out with them. My buddy claims to like all subjects and enjoy each one; he likes being in class. He's got this great energy to him and I swear he could become an actor or something. We were asked to do certain walks, happy, sad, angry, etc. He rocked it, and did all the walks with such emotion; he needs to be in theatre! He's so cute and funny, and he always has a smile on his face. He cooperates really well and likes to communicate with others. I loved meeting my buddy and hope to meet him again soon.

Buddies again! :

YAY, I got to meet little champ again today; my buddy is such a pleasure to be around and he's just such a great kid. He loves running around and he;s got this energy in him that just makes things so much more enjoyable! Today we played music and did different running around exercises, like the different kind of walks, hopping.. etc. We're gooing to call my buddy little champ, because it just suits him (he's adorable.) Alright so little champ did great a this, he was hopping around and running, I had to catch up with him! Kids run so fast with so much energy, you really have to keep track of them. I personally love having a little buddy, it really kicks in the responsibility aspect of you. Having a little buddy really gives you the instinct of putting them before yourself and making sure they're okay; you want to make sure they always are safe. Even when doing a simple running activity, you want to make sure they aren't falling or hitting themselves. I think that's really what connects you, it's the instinct of having someone younger than you to take care of. Having a little buddy is such a great experience, and I'm really happy that I am able to be part of something like this.

Buddies.. WOOHOO:

Alright, so another great experience with our buddies today. Class started off with talking to our buddies about what they did over the break! I wasn't able to meet little champ last time we had buddies, so it was nice to see him again. He got a haircut, no more mushroom cut! Aw, I'll miss that cute hair he had. Either way, he was still the same chirpy, cheery boy I had met the first day. I talked to him about what he did over his easter long weekend, and he did lots. He went to dinner to his older sister's house and had loads of fun. He played soccer till 12 at night and loved the weather. I asked him if he had lots of chocolate and he said no, but  talked about having a grand dinner at his sister's. He talked about playing with his friends and enjoying the weather.

In this class we focused on underhand throwing, and using the opposite foot to step forward when throwing the ball. My buddy was good at this, except just needed to get the hang of taking bigger steps. I was quite shocked because he already knew what to do, and how the left goes with right, and right goes with left. I learnt something new about little champ, he plays tennis. He talked about how his parents have him in tennis and how he practices throwing the ball with them all the time. He enjoyed throwing the ball back and forth, and was able to understand the concept of taking bigger steps. The golf game went well, I gave him little hints and advice, and he got the hang of it. He understood that the farther away the hoop, the harder you throw, and the closer the hoop, the lighter you throw. It felt good because I was able to teach him something, and have him understand the concept. I also learnt that little champ likes to take care of injured or dying worms. A group of his friends and him take care of worms that are dying or injured and make sure they are taken care of. It was so nice to see a young kid, be taking care of the environment and nature around him. Overall, this was a great day and I really enjoyed spending time with my buddy.

Dragon Tails.. Part 2!

GUESS WHAT, IT HAPPENED AGAIN; WITH MORE INTENSENESS.

Okay, this was lots if fun, but let's take a moment of silence because John was not part of it.. *crying inside.* We missed you lots John, and hope to see you again soon, Good luck with your studies. Bless. :)
Alright so basically we played Dragon Tails, except... Day 1 Band vs Day 2 Band. That's right, we battled each other.

Now of course the rivalry between BBW's and Wildcat's had to somehow end so we could become a team together and do this. So we became one team.. but we didn't have a name..? It just wasn't happening and we couldn't find a name.. but then we realized something. Quoted from Nimrit, "We weren't a team. We were a Squad." We became a squad, and slayed everyone. Alright, this game was really fun and I personally have never enjoyed myself this much. Honestly, bless for having such amazing people in our class. Alright, so our defence was a little weak; our strategies weren't working. We tried to come up with some really crazy stuff but it like wasn't working.. and so we just tied it. We were good with offence like slay. At the end, it was tie, and then came the last round. If we were able to stop the other band we won, but if they got a cross it was a tie. Now of course, our inner souls were like um what? Did you say tie? Like equal? I don't think we're letting that happen. So we put all our efforts in.. and guess what? As I always say teamwork makes the dreamwork. WE WON YAS. Okay, so we won and there were some great celebrations. This was really fun, bless the other class; you're great people. Alright, so we ended this class off with fitness. We ran post to post, back and forth three times, and then got changed. The last part was hard, but hey; after that victory we were cool with it. I did pretty good with the laps, jogging back and forth each time, so bless. This gym class was very enjoyable and I would love to do this again, wish John was here to watch us though! Either way, let's just end this off by saying... bless. (:

Blog Posts

Okay, after like I lost count how many tries my blog is finally not being annoying and working yay. Here's some advice; do not create more than two blogs on your blogger account, it screws up the whole thing.

Either way here are all the posts I have written through these past months, weeks.. etc. Sorry for making you read so much :(

Speedball:
Our class has a new addition, a student teacher named John! John is so fun, and has such  great personality, he's quite funny and blends in with all the students. He's really good at soccer, because today when we were playing speedball he was really good at moving fast with the ball. Today's class was really fun and I personally really liked it, lots of scoring today. I was able to help score a couple goals and was running lots! It was a lot of fun and there was a lot of team spirit today, which was great. I have to say, everytime we play speed ball, everyone has this energy and positivity in them; this game brings out the inner wildness in us. I personally love when we play speedball, it really shows teamwork.

 Dragon Tails:
Can we just take a minute for John's creativity in this game? We played a new game that was learnt today, called Dragon Tails. Dragon Tails is basically like football, but using humans. Does that sound a little odd? Don't worry, we weren't throwing people across the field. :) Basically you are split in too two teams. I had the honour of being on Team Wildcats; that's right. What team? WILDCATS. Don't even mess with us, I swear. This game was such a success. Everyone was cheering and has such great spirit and sportsmanship in them, it was such a great sight to see. I absolutely loved seeing everyone screaming and celebrating victory; this game just made everyone cheer and scream with joy. I think it's fair to thank Chris for being a great leader. Chris honestly did a great job and helped a lot. Chris was a wonderful team leader, and Wildcats really became a family. Of course in the end Wildcats won, and we were able to succeed in victory. I hope to play this again!
What team? Wildcats.
What team? Wildcats.
What team? Wildcats.
Get your head in the game.
Wildcats >> everything.

Memory Pinnie Game:
Another one of John's amazing creative ideas. Can we just take a minute with the amazing game ideas? This game was kind of like a fun game mixed with fitness. It involved lots of teamwork, and again lots of cheering. John's game always have teamwork and cheers in them, which I personally feel is great. Okay, so basically there are four teams, each team is given a pinnie colour. The four teams were red, blue, yellow and green. My team was originally blue, but of course things happen, people don't listen and we got switched to red. Red is a great colour, still loved it as much. Either way, each team had their colour and four extra pinnies of that colour. Those four pinnies were hidden under different yoga mats. There were four rows of yoga mats with four in each section. Now, all the pinnies were hidden under yoga mats. Each team had to lift up a yoga mat and see if their team colour pinnie was there; if it was you take it, if not you don't. You need to memorize which ones you've checked so you don't go back to the same mat and waste time. The fitness aspect came after each round of the game and in each round. While Neuf and John hid the pinnies under the mats we had to run a lap around the school, or walk. That was the first aspect. The second one, was when you run to the mat of your choice you have to do a given exercise. Everytime you go to a mat, you do the exercise and then check under the mat. This game required a lot of team work because as a team you had to work towards memory and strategy. Our team did very well, we won! Despite, having some difficulties with pinnie colours, we still won with red. I liked this game and would love to play it again. :)

Fitness By Choice:
This was a different kind of fitness, you were able to choose what you wanted. There was pyramid, community run and Zumba. A couple band kids and I decided to do Zumba. This was honestly lots of fun and quite entertaining. It worked you out real good but gave you a good laugh. I was pretty tired by the end and had put a sweat on, so this did work you out quite a bit. It was hard to catch a long with some of the steps, as they were harder than they looked. Some steps also went by so fast, you couldn't catch them. We put on a good laugh though and has a great time. This fitness activity wasn't grand or anything, but it was enjoyable and did work you out to a good extent.

Chariot Game:
This game was another masterpiece by John. I don't know how he comes up with such different and interesting ideas..? First off, let's just take a minute to realize we had to jump a fence. Okay, for next time; be safe when you're jumping fences. We had a couple people rip their pants. I think it's fair enough to say, as a PE class, we are going to take jumping fences classes. Basically you're in teams of 5, and have a hula hoop. Along with the hula hoop, 4 people get 1 pinnie each, and 1 person gets 2 pinnies (the driver.) My team consisted of, Pallvi, Anusha, Hardil, Peyton and I. This team was so fun to be with, we had a couple good laughs. We got a couple pinnies, but ours got taken a lot... :| We combined teams with another team, but then we stopped because that didn't work and there was too many people. This game was pretty fun and again lots of teamwork, cheering and screams involved. Teamwork was really the key to this game along with strategy. Even though there was ripped clothing, broken hula hoops, scratches, bruises and people falling over, this game was pretty fun, and I would like to play this again so we can make new strategies to win. :)

Dance Week:
Our favourite; dance week! Who doesn't love this, like god bless. So we were able to do two of the dance days; Jazz and Bhangra. We won/ dominated everyone both days because our class is just wow. I pretty much fail at Jazz, trust me I was trying. Either way, our class just has this amazing teamwork and energy as we get together. We danced it off, and won the battle. Now, let's move on to bhangra. Neuf is quite serious about these things, especially Bhangra. First off, hats off to Mr.Williams for beating all the teachers in the teacher battle. That was well deserved and let's just say, no one can beat Mr. Williams. Of course Neuf was  like amazing as always..? That isn't a shock, he has like super dance skills. Both band classes were combined for Bhangra and together, we dominated all, like SLAAY. The energy was great, and let;s just say band kids rock. Sullivan dancers are so amazing and put so much hard work and effort into teaching students, so thank you. It was a pleasure having you guys teach us, despite how annoying we can be.. :$ Dance week is always loads of fun, and I was so happy to have been able to be part of it with all band kids. :)

Mid- Term Reflection

During PE this year, how have you shown you are prepared and willing to participate
in a variety of activities?  First off, I always have my gym strip and appropriate clothes for P.E. I am usually on time, there has been a couple times I am late because of fundraisers or leadership. I always come to class with a positive attitude and usually take part in the activities we do positively.

On what days have you participated to your best effort and
why?  What days have been a struggle for you and why? On fitness days, I definitely try to participate to my best effort. I try to make sure that I keep going, but sometimes I let go. Overall, I do try my best in every class, but a lot more in specifically fitness. I think fitness has also been one of those struggling days, I will sometimes let go. Most of the times, I keep going, but some days I will just let go; I would definitely like to improve this. I've gotten better, but I will definitely make it my best. Fitness can be a struggle sometimes especially when you're tired. It's also harder so you have to try to challenge yourself to do the activity without giving up. This involves a lot of mental thinking and for the most part I am pretty good, there will just be some days that I will let go.

How do you contribute to the overall success of the class?  What kind of attitude do
you bring and why?  How do you interact with other students in our class?  I contribute to the overall success of the class by being there everyday, on time and wearing gym strip. I bring a positive attitude to the class, and I'm always smiling. I personally feel that your attitude is very important. If you come to class with a negative attitude, you will not do well in class. You have to be positive; good mind, good find. I can guarantee that if you come to class smiling with a  positive attitude, you will enjoy gym 10 times more and find it more fun. I motivate others and cheer people on. I try to encourage others to keep going and not give up; I will sometimes try to lead activities. I always talk to others in outclass, rather it be discussing a game or laughing off at something. I try to make sure everyone is involved and no one is left out. Overall though, I always make sure everyone is comfortable and enjoying themselves.

Describe your participation during fitness days - have you been able to push yourself
physically?  My participation overall is pretty good, I try to put in my best effort. Fitness days are probably one of the hardest, and mentally it's even harder. Physically I have been able to push myself; even if i get cramps or my legs start to hurt, I try to get it to the last second. I try to ignore the cramps or soreness and keep going, especially if there is only a couple seconds left.

What types of fitness activities do you enjoy the most?  What fitness
goals do you have for the rest of the year?  I like fitness activities like the pond run, 40/20, Loco-motion and I also really liked relays. My fitness goals are definitely to get a higher score on beep test, and control myself mentally. Often times if I do give up, it's because my mind says you can't go more. I later often realize that I could've gone longer. My fitness goals for the year would probably be to not let go, and keep going. It would be too change mentally, and not give up because I want too.

What does "leadership" mean to you?  Who are the best leaders in our class - why?
Leadership to me does not mean bossing people around, or being the head. Leadership to me means being a role model, and being a listener. Often leaders are portrayed as speaking, and telling people what to do, but as a leader I think that it is very important to listen. There are many leaders in our class; everyone is a leader in themselves. Of course there are people who step up more often, but otherwise we have many leaders. There are often people who help during an activity, or even organize an activity. Everyone in our class is a leader, some just step up more often.

What improvements would you like to make in PE by the end of the year?  What are
you the most proud of so far? I would definitely like to work out more and be more active. I think one of my goals is to get a higher score on beep test and probably to be able to not let go. I know I sometimes let go, and I would definitely like to improve on going till the very end. I also would like to regularly start updating my blog again! Need to get this up and running again! I think I am more open this year, I like to explore new things. I really like that. I participate more in P.E., and work harder in many activities. I am definitely more involved in the activities and motivate others more and cheer them on.

Finally, what letter grade A, B, C+, C, C- (gulp) best represents the effort you just described? In Grade 10-12 we need an actual percentage as well. :( Like 71%… because…"

Overall, I believe that I deserve a work habit of a "G" and 86% (A), till now for my progress in P.E. And of course God Bless! (:
